MY PLEDGES
. An Educational Fund to take
care of schools, libraries, school fees for needy pupils and students and of course ICT-Information Communication Technology-
centers. More Vocational / Technical Training schools.
. Free National Health Insurance to old and aged people, starting from an age
that would be determined by a committee to be set up. Ambulances to take people to hospitals as well as hearses to take
people to the mortuary and burials.
. Sanitation: Working with the Assembly members through the Municipal Assembly
in the provision of rubbish containers, public toilets with water closets. A mower to mow all the schools and playing fields
regularly.
. Free Hair cut to primary school children in the constituency as well as reduced price in
grinding Corn mills to help the people.
. Promotion of sports. This is a big promise as I have been in sports for some
time from the District to the Regional Level. Assistance to 2nd division clubs especially in the Constituency to motivate
them to perform well especially during competitions and tournaments and qualify to the National Division One League and above.
Encourage a women football club to be formed. A sports complex or mini stadium in the Constituency.
. Jobs
to solve unemployment …. To create jobs in the Kente industry, salt industry, etc. How? By bringing Investors to come
and set up companies, factories, etc.
. Agriculture: A farm tractor to plough farms for people at reduced rates. Encourage
animal husbandry, the supply of fertilizer, seeds and farm implements and equipments. Encourage fish farming. Assistance to
farmers and fishermen.
. Assist private sectors…in the form of soft loans to start-up businesses.
. Road
networks and drainage in all towns and villages of Ketu South Constituency
. Electricity in all towns and
villages of Ketu South Constituency as well as Good drinking water in all towns and villages. We need phone lines as well,
all over the constituency to promote ICT.
. A Development fund to take care of the needed infrastructure in the Constituency.
For example, good markets, good lorry stations etc.
. Also to take care of people with disability, pensioners as well as single mothers.
. To
promote Tourism as well as Cultural tourist attractions. To help encourage an Arts and Crafts Village and supporting the festivals
and other occasions like graduation ceremonies.
Ketu
South Constituency will be a model constituency in Ghana, Africa and the world. And we shall start to distribute the national
cake from those who cannot afford kerosene to light their homes at night, from the very old and the aged.
